POLYBUTENE acts as a film-forming agent, providing a smooth texture and enhancing the product's spreadability on the lips. It helps create a protective barrier that locks in moisture, contributing to a more comfortable wear.

SYNTHETIC WAX is a versatile ingredient commonly used in cosmetic formulations for its various functions. It acts as an abrasive, which can be useful in products designed for exfoliation. Additionally, it serves as a binding agent, helping to hold ingredients together and maintain the integrity of the formulation. Its emulsion-stabilising properties contribute to the stability of mixtures containing both oil and water, ensuring a consistent texture. Furthermore, SYNTHETIC WAX can also function as a fragrance component, enhancing the sensory experience of the product, while its viscosity-controlling ability allows formulators to adjust the thickness and flow of the formulation, making it easier to apply. These functions make SYNTHETIC WAX a valuable addition to a wide range of cosmetic products.

ETHYLENE/PROPYLENE/STYRENE COPOLYMER is primarily used as a viscosity-controlling agent in cosmetic formulations. Its ability to modify the thickness and flow of products can enhance the texture and application experience. Formulators may add this ingredient to achieve a desired consistency, ensuring that the product is easy to apply and spreads evenly on the skin. This function is particularly useful in products where the desired viscosity is crucial for performance and user satisfaction.

BUTYLENE/ETHYLENE/STYRENE COPOLYMER is primarily used as a viscosity-controlling agent in cosmetic formulations. This ingredient helps to modify the thickness and flow properties of products, which can enhance the texture and application experience. Formulators may add it to achieve a desired consistency, ensuring that the product is easy to apply and spreads evenly on the skin. Its role in controlling viscosity is crucial for creating stable and effective formulations.

TOCOPHERYL ACETATE is a derivative of vitamin E, commonly used in cosmetic formulations due to its antioxidant properties. It helps to protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by free radicals, which can lead to premature aging. Additionally, it serves as a skin-conditioning agent, enhancing the skin's hydration and overall appearance. Formulators may add TOCOPHERYL ACETATE to improve the stability of products and provide a moisturizing effect, making it a popular choice in various skincare and cosmetic applications.

DEHYDROACETIC ACID is primarily used as a preservative in cosmetic formulations. Its main function is to inhibit the growth of microorganisms, thereby extending the shelf life of products and ensuring their safety for consumer use. Formulators may add DEHYDROACETIC ACID to prevent spoilage and maintain the integrity of the product over time. However, it is important to note that this ingredient is subject to specific restrictions, as indicated by its classification as 'cosing-restricted' under reference V/13.

PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRA-DI-T-BUTYL HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE is a synthetic antioxidant commonly used in cosmetic formulations. Its primary function is to protect products from oxidative degradation, which can lead to a loss of efficacy and undesirable changes in color and scent. By stabilizing formulations, this ingredient helps to extend the shelf life of cosmetic products. Formulators may add it to enhance the overall stability and performance of their formulations, ensuring that the active ingredients remain effective over time.

ROSA CANINA FRUIT OIL, commonly known as rosehip oil, is derived from the seeds of the wild rose plant. It is primarily used in cosmetics for its skin-conditioning properties, acting as an emollient that helps to soften and smooth the skin. Formulators may add this ingredient for its ability to enhance the skin's moisture retention, thereby improving overall skin texture and appearance. Additionally, it is valued for its potential to nourish the skin due to its fatty acid content, making it a popular choice in formulations aimed at promoting skin health.

RICINUS COMMUNIS SEED OIL, commonly known as castor oil, is derived from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. This oil is often used in cosmetics for its skin-conditioning properties, helping to moisturize and soften the skin. Additionally, it serves as a fragrance component, contributing to the overall scent profile of formulations. Formulators may add RICINUS COMMUNIS SEED OIL to enhance the sensory experience of a product while also providing emollient benefits, making it a versatile ingredient in various cosmetic applications.

Sodium Hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body known for its remarkable ability to retain moisture. As a humectant, it attracts and binds water to the skin, helping to maintain hydration and improve the skin's overall texture and appearance. Formulators often include Sodium Hyaluronate in cosmetic products to enhance moisture levels, promote a plump and youthful look, and provide a smooth application experience. Its lightweight nature allows for easy absorption, making it a popular choice in various skincare formulations.

HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL is a modified form of castor oil that has undergone hydrogenation, resulting in a thicker, more stable ingredient. It serves multiple functions in cosmetic formulations, primarily as a skin-conditioning emollient and a surfactant-emulsifying agent. This ingredient helps to enhance the texture and feel of products, providing a smooth application while also aiding in the blending of oil and water components. Formulators may add HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL to improve the overall consistency and stability of formulations, as well as to provide moisturizing benefits to the skin.
